Admissions

The Engineering Education Ph.D. primarily admits students for the fall semester. For priority consideration for fall admission, please submit your application through the Graduate School no later than February 1st.

Our program is currently a DBER (discipline-based education research) model, meaning that your home department will match that of your major advisor, and your degree program will be the Engineering Education Ph.D.

We are currently also a direct-admit model, meaning that we encourage students to identify a faculty member in our program with whom they are interested in working before applying. A list of our current faculty and their research areas can be found on our research areas page.
